Europäisches Arzneibuch: Neue Ausgabe von Pharmeuropa

(ga). Die 160 Seiten starke Ausgabe von "Pharmeuropa®", Vol. 16.2 April 2004, dem Informationsmedium der Europäischen Arzneibuch-Kommission, enthält 40 europäische Monographie-Entwürfe, die bis zum 31. Juli 2004 zur Diskussion gestellt werden.

Es sind dies u. a. eine Monographie über

  • Baldrianwurzel (Valerian Root – Valerianae radix) und 3 Monographien über fette Öle:
  • Almond oil, refined (Amygdalae oleum raffinatum)
  • Almond oil, virgin (Amygdalae oleum virginale)
  • Sesame oil, refined (Sesami oleum raffinatum).

Von Interesse ist auch die überarbeitete Monographie "Tablets-Compressi", wo insbesondere die Anforderungen an die "Teilbarkeit von Tabletten" zu beachten sind. Eine Anfrage der EDQM zum Methanolgehalt von Urtinkturen für homöopathische Zubereitungen soll bis zum 30. April 2004 beantwortet werde

Im Rahmen der Arbeiten an der internationalen Arzneibuchharmonisierung sind drei Entwürfe abgedruckt:

  • Bulk density und tapped density of powders (2.9.34),
  • Density of solids (2.2.42),
  • Gas pycnometric density of solids (2.9.23).

Zur Information sind ferner die Inhaltsverzeichnisse von Pharmacopoeial Forum (USP) Vol. 29, No. 6, Nov – Dec 2003 und Vol. 30, No. 1, Jan – Febr 2004 abgedruckt. Eine aktuelle Auflistung (Stand: 16. Februar 2004) der Zertifikate des Europäischen Arzneibuchs für die Substanzen, die nicht mehr erneuert bzw. zurückgezogen wurden, enthält 74 Stoffe.
