Europäisches Arzneibuch: Neue Ausgabe von Pharmeuropa

(ga). Die 128 Seiten starke Ausgabe von "Pharmeuropa®", Vol. 15.4. October 2003, dem Informationsmedium der Europäischen Arzneibuch-Kommission, enthält 43 europäische Monographie-Entwürfe, die bis zum 31. Januar 2004 zur Diskussion gestellt werden. Es sind dies u. a. 6 Monographien über Drogen, 8 Monographien über homöopathisch verwendete Substanzen und 1 Monographie über ätherische Öle.

Im Rahmen der Arbeiten an der internationalen Arzneibuchharmonisierung ist ein Entwurf über Reis-Stärke abgedruckt. Zur Information sind ferner die Inhaltsverzeichnisse von Pharmacopoeial Forum (USP) Vol. 29, No. 3, May – June 2003 und No. 4, July – Aug. 2003 sowie Japanese Pharmacopoeial Forum Vol. 12 No. 3, July 2003 abgedruckt.

Von Interesse sind außerdem die Monographien "2.2.57 Inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry (PA/PH/ SG(03)76 ANP) und 2.2.58. Inductively coupled plasmamass spectrometry (PA/PH/SG(03)77 ANP) sowie "Human albumin solution" (PA/PH/Exp. 6 B/T(03) 41 ANP).

Von Interesse ist auch das Inhaltsverzeichnis des Supplements 4.8 der 4. Ausgabe des Europäischen Arzneibuchs, das seit Dezember 2003 verfügbar sein wird und am 1. Juli 2004 in Kraft gesetzt wird. Außerdem ist das Supplement 4.7 der 4. Ausgabe des Europäischen Arzneibuchs seit September 2003 erhältlich; es wird am 1. April 2004 in Kraft gesetzt werden und enthält eine kumulative Liste aller Reagenzien.

Eine aktuelle Auflistung der Substanzen, die über ein Zertifikat nach dem Zertifikatsystem des Europäischen Arzneibuchs verfügen, wird zukünftig nicht mehr gedruckt. Stattdessen ist eine tagesaktualisierte Liste aller Zertifikate online unter dem Abschnitt "certification section" unter der Adresse www.pheur.org einzusehen.

Zurzeit sind etwa 1300 Zertifikate (900 für die chemische Reinheit und mikrobiologische Qualität und 420 über die TSE-Reinheit, zum Teil sind beide enthalten) verfügbar. In dieser Ausgabe ist eine Liste (Stand: 30. Juli 2003) aller zurückgezogenen bzw. nicht erneuerten Zertifikate (etwa 63) abgedruckt.

Das Inhaltsverzeichnis von "Pharmeuropa®" Vol. 15.4, October 2003 ist nachstehend abgedruckt.
